About the conference

The Conference "Sustainable Development and Digital Innovation: Today and Future" - is not an ordinary event, it should attract the attention of a wide range of interested parties and individual participants to issues that are extremely important for the many countries in the world. Conference purpose is to discuss and shape the vision of the future for sustainable development based on the application of digital innovations.

Створивши подібний майданчик для взаєморозуміння, організатори конференції прагнуть консолідувати зусилля наукових та освітніх закладів,  організацій громадянського суспільства, приватного сектору та органів влади.

For this purpose, we aim to target the participants of the conference to discuss the impact of digital technologies on sustainable development, in particular to consider the impact of digital technologies on the processes associated with human activity in various spheres, to outline the existing and possible threats of their use, as well as existing approaches to social development, moving away from a policy based solely on the theory of economic growth, the main indicator of which is GDP as a reflection of social well-being.

In addition, it is proposed to exchange experience and highlight international and domestic practices regarding innovative digital solutions in projects promoting sustainable development.

Goals of the conference

The organizers set the following complementary goals of the conference:

1. Discuss the importance and impacts, both positive and negative, of digital technologies on sustainable development.
2. Focus the discourse on the use of future-oriented digital innovations and the growth of well-being outlined by the Sustainable Development Goals.
3. To outline possible solutions and ways of using digital innovations aimed at overcoming existing obstacles on this path and more sustainable economic growth.
4. Create new alliances between conference participants and other interested parties regarding participation in the preparation and implementation of joint projects within the framework of the initiated programs of the European Union.

This conference aims to be a platform for sharing ideas, experiences and practical knowledge, contributing to the development of innovative solutions for achieving sustainable development in the digital age.

 The following main topics will be discussed at the conference:         

**Section 1. Digital technologies and sustainable development** opens a discussion on information threats and opportunities for sustainable development, and looks at innovations in electronic communications and radio technology, as well as digital technologies that can change the paradigm of sustainable development. Themes: Innovations in electronic communications and radio technology. Information threats to sustainable development. Application of artificial intelligence to solve public needs.

**Section 2. Digital economy and partnership** focuses on the important role of the circular economy for sustainable development and partnership of science, education and business in the development of the IT industry of Ukraine, as well as the importance of infrastructure and innovation for the development of regional ecosystems. In addition, issues of digital innovation in smart cities and communities will be discussed. Themes: Innovations and infrastructure for the development of regional ecosystems. Education, science and business for the sustainable growth of the IT industry in Ukraine. Digital innovation in smart cities and communities. Circular economy for sustainable development.

**Section 3. Practices of innovative digital solutions in projects to promote sustainable development ** dedicated to highlighting the experience of using digital technologies to ensure food security and artificial intelligence to solve public needs, innovative solutions to combat waste, as well as inclusive educational technologies, innovations in medicine and other fields. Themes: Digital technologies and food security projects. Innovative solutions in the fight against waste. Inclusive educational technologies. Innovations in the field of health care. Digital innovations in agriculture. 

The Conference Events

The conference consists of a Plenary Meeting and Final Session and 3 Thematic Sections. In the Plenary meeting, which will take place at the State University of Intelligent Technologies and Communication and is available to all registered participants in ZOOM (they will receive the corresponding link to the e-mail addresses specified during registration).

Speakers will speak in a mixed mode (offline and online) or the speech will be pre-recorded.
